The primary function of Olsen's Agricultural Laboratory since its beginning has been to provide quality analytical services to the agricultural community.

The laboratory has developed its own Internet Client Software for ease and speed of data delivery.

The area served by Olsen's Laboratory is nationwide. Analytical services include soil, leaf, petiole, feed, fertilizer, water, manure testing, and seed germination as well as wastewater samples from municipalities.

Our laboratory maintains certification for the analysis of coliform bacteria in public drinking water, coliform bacteria and nitrate-N in private water, RFV/RFQ in alfalfa hay, and manure samples. In addition, our laboratory participates in NAPT, AAFCO, Magruder, and AFPC quality control check sample programs.

 

 

Alfalfa Testing Update—June 2009

As part of our commitment to our clients and their testing needs, we have expanded our Alfalfa NIR testing capabilities to include:

Fat, Ash, Sugar and Lignin

Throughout the month of June 2009, the Alfalfa RFV-RFQ reports will include the new constituents, at no additional charge.  If you wish to continue receiving these additional constituents after this introductory period, please request the ‘Complete NIR’ analysis on your submittal form.
